Our
Story

The name is about how good things actually arrive, unannounced, from a direction nobody was watching.

Serendipiware started in Patras in October 2024 and became a registered UK company in May 2026. The first thing out of it was Claire, named for "clear", because honesty was the only part that was never up for discussion. Everything built since has been chasing the same feeling: something quiet enough to think inside of.

Privacy and digital rights are the core of it. We run relays and proxies for people who can't reach the open internet, we sign the letters we mean, and we would rather grow slowly than fund any of it by selling you.

Core Values

The things we decided before there was anything to decide them about, so they'd still be true once there was something to lose by keeping them.

Floral curtains lit in pink and green

01Privacy by default

No tracking pixels, no data resale, no third party cookies. The analytics we run can't identify you, and nothing you type is worth anything to us except as a thing you said.

Two light switches in warm afternoon light

02Honest software

No dark patterns, no fake urgency, no subscription you have to email someone to cancel. If a choice would be good for our numbers and bad for you, it doesn't ship.

Power lines beneath a towering cloud

03The open web

We run relays and proxies for people who can't reach the internet freely, and we put our name on the letters that push back on the laws trying to close it.

A desk lamp glowing against an amber wall

04Design decides

Every product starts as the version we'd want to use, and monetization has to fit around that instead of the other way round. Anything that would make it uglier or pushier or creepier gets dropped, even when it's the obvious money.
